Here's little more about each charity…
Rudy Lobo, Chief Operating Officer for Regus, has a dream to restore the sight of
thousands of people in the developing world with cataracts, where blindness is their reality. For just a few pounds we can restore the sight of one person.
The most successful individuals have one thing in common, "VISION".
The capacity to see the mental image of their dreams and make it reality. Imagine
losing the physical ability to see and compound this with the knowledge that
your sight could have been saved for just a few pounds. Please support Rudy and Regus to change the lives of thousands
of people in the developing world.
Epidermolysis Bullosa - is a genetic condition where the skin breaks at the
slightest touch, causing painful, open blisters and wounds. EB can mean a life
of extreme pain, disability and, at its worst it is fatal in infancy. People
with severe EB are likely to contract a fatal skin cancer. DebRA provides specialist
EB nursing, funds extensive medical research and provides counselling, welfare,
respite and advocacy.
UNICEF is the leading children’s organisation, reaching children in
more than 150 countries around the world. We work with local communities, organisations
and governments to make a lasting difference to children’s lives. Our
global reach allows us to share knowledge across borders while our local presence – almost
85 per cent of UNICEF staff work in developing countries – means we can
deliver assistance where it is needed most. With our worldwide presence, UNICEF
is ready to respond rapidly wherever disaster strikes, delivering life-saving
help for children. UNICEF UK is one of 37 UNICEF National Committees based
in industrialised countries. UNICEF is not directly funded by the UN but instead
relies on voluntary donations to fund our work for children worldwide. To find
